Meet Francesca and Sam

Recently I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the lovely Francesca and Sam at their black-tie ceremony on their beautiful mid-August Wedding. Taking place at Hedsor House, a stunning Georgian mansion which sits nestled away in leafy Buckinghamshire overlooking the river Thames and just a stone's throw from London.

Hedsor House couldn't have been a more perfect location for all the beautiful details Francesca and Sam curated for their day. Delicate florals and a stunning Eva Lendel dress set the tone for their wedding, and it was perfect. I loved capturing all the detail and giving them heirloom photographs I know they'll cherish for their lifetime.

Voted as a Tattler and Vogue dream wedding venue, and as both a Vogue and Tattler featured photographer myself, you can see why I jumped at the chance to photograph this beautiful couple on their wedding day, the place just oozes with elegant timeless, luxury.

The bridal suite was stunning, as are each of the house’s thirteen uniquely decorated guest bedrooms. It felt like the most perfect setting for one of the most romantic days of your life. It was a complete privilege to join Francesca with her bridal party as they got ready, and we've got to talk about the dress!! Designer Eva Lendel is known for breaking boundaries and not following the rules all whilst maintaining this immaculate sense of classic romance and beauty in all her designs.

Her dresses are stunning, The Davina dress was the perfect fit for Francesca. It was flawless and completely suited the majestic environment of Hedsor House. It's stunning. Embroidered with thousands of delicate sparkling spangles and sumptuous bow-tied back which Fran removed in the evening so she could really party. It was a dream to photograph and as excitement and nerves were building before the ceremony it was the perfect opportunity to get pictures of Fran and her beautiful bridesmaids before she said I do. I couldn’t have loved the floral arrangements by seventh heaven anymore, this wedding truly felt like it was perfect for me to photograph and lent itself perfectly to my light and airy style.

The perfect setting

The wonderful thing about this wedding was how elegant, intimate and fun it was, as champagne started flowing it felt like some magical gatsby-eque party that was full of just the most laughter and joy as well as the most spectacular opera singer who really blew everyone away. Francesca and Sam danced the night away, and having this gorgeous venue all to themselves made it feel even more special and exclusive. If you're getting married and looking for a unique and special place, I couldn't recommend Hedsor House enough, there is even the most beautiful 12th century Church, just 300m from the house; where ceremonies and blessings can take place. As well as a beautiful grand ballroom, a staircase to die for and plenty of stunning backdrops for your photographs. It simply doesn't get more romantic than this.
